Welcome to Philadelphia Marathi Mandal (PMM), a prestigious non-profit organization celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra in North America. As the second oldest Marathi association in the Greater Philadelphia region, PMM has been at the forefront of hosting distinguished events and programs that showcase the vibrant traditions of our Marathi Speaking community. Over the years, we have organized prestigious multi-day extravaganzas, such as the "2009 BMM Convention" in July 2009 and the remarkable "PMM-50" celebration in April 2022.

With over 52 years of rich heritage, the PMM is dedicated to evolving from a cultural organization into a thriving Maharashtrian community epicenter. Our mission is to forge an inclusive community ecosystem that caters to all age groups, offering transformative experiences that captivate diverse interests of Marathi Speaking community. By nurturing a deep sense of belonging and celebrating our cultural legacy, we serve our members with innovative programs and collaborative initiatives designed to enrich and elevate their lives.

PMM takes immense pride in being the co-founder of the Philadelphia Ganesh Festival along with Bharatiya Temple, the first and largest 10-day Sarvajanik Ganesh Festival in North America. Our dedication to preserving and promoting our traditions has been recognized with the prestigious "Vyas Puraskar" by the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple Trust (Mumbai, Maharashtra) in 2018, honoring us as the “Best Public Ganesh Festival” celebrated outside of India. Furthermore, we are the proud founders of America's First Dhol Tasha Pathak, a testament to our commitment to preserving and celebrating the rich musical heritage of Maharashtra.
